My sister was getting married. I wanted a really special dress, she is the youngest of 5 and the last to get married, therefore the las wedding ;-)
I love 1950’s style and I looked for a suitable dress with no success…. I decided to make my own one.
Here the result, I made the dress, the belt and the bolero.
I wanted a flowered fabric and it was the only one that had complete flowers.
It gives the skirt all the desired volume and when you dance…… it flies!!
