Description

This was dress that I helped my sister make for herself. We altered the bodice pattern together (Butterick 5030) and used my instructions for a circle skirt to construct the skirt. Edging the circle skirt in bias tape is a fantastic way to finish it off with minimal headaches, and the pink really pops on the black and white polka dots.

This dress is so very pretty! You had a wonderful idea to add the bias tape for the trim, it adds that special touch. I have never thought of adding bias tape at the hem; I make a lot of circle skirts for our daughter and would like to try this. Thank you for sharing.
