This is a 1950s innspirerete men’s suit i have been working on.
I had to to modify two Burdastyle pattern since I unfortunately did not find a good vintage pattern. Pattern for the jacket is the Stinchcombe and the pants is the Jochen. Men’s suits have remained fairly similar over the last few decades so it was not many changes I needed to do. I needed to alter the pockets and make it higher in the waist.
edit: My camera died, so I only managed to take one picture of the final result.

Thank you:)
I know. My camera died, so I only managed to take one picture. It is a pity.

What fun! Except he should be reading some 1950s newspaper with long lists of financial returns, or else an old-fashioned copy of Nietzsche or Proust :-)

hihi, Nietzsche or Proust would probably not read Norwegian newspapers advertising sales on gardenfurniture;)
