I got this great 50’s dress pattern the other day and just couldn’t wait to make this. I had to adjust the pattern to fit my body (since my measurements put me in three different size ranges). But it was pretty easy and I love the way it turned out. I still have to hem the bottom, but otherwise she’s done.
Not sure why the first picture is all wonky, but if you “view all” you’ll see it correctly.

I just noticed this project of yours, wow, please please upload another photo of you, you look too gorgeous and the picture is distorted, not sure why. I believe I have thsi pattern, I did not cut it because I am not sure what size I need…. You are right, I seem to fall into all size charts . So complicated! Where did you get that fabric from, it is so cool!

Yeah, I’m not sure why the picture is all weird. I’ve tried uploading it several times. If you click the “view all” button, it’s fixed.
The fabric was from Joann’s in their premium quilting cotton section. I don’t remember the designer.

And we have a winner!
You get the, “It’s so sharp I’d wear it, and I’m a guy” award.
The style drew me in, but the pattern put it over the top.
Congratulations!

Thanks! They are actually just rectangles that you tie to the shoulder strap so it’s even more versatile. :)

Thank you! I bought a bunch of floral fabrics to make more. It’s such a flattering style.
