Wow!!! now I am REALLY missing all the great patterns that I gave away 15 years ago when I thought my sewing days were over!!! What a lesson for a packrat- no matter what- just keep them!

Have always been a huge fan of vintage patterns. There’s just something about them that you rarely find in todays patterns. Seeing your beautiful creation has inspired me to look back through my little collection…. Thx.

This dress is so incredibly fab! I can’t imagine how much time and love you put into this. Gorgeous. And I love the color, too.

Wow, you lucked out with that one! It’s a beautiful dress. Most vintage prints are far superior in detail and design than newer one’s.

1950’s yet still modern! The princes seams and cut of the bodice fits perfectly! Nice scalloped buttons detail!

Hi Squirrellypoo, sorry but it’s an actual vintage pattern. I emailed Simplicity for more info about it and they replied that they no longer print it and have no info on it. I wasn’t even sure what size it was when i made it due to the pattern being torn, how fantastic is it that it actually did fit! I have uploaded a picture of the pattern.

OMG I love that scalloped button opening! Is that from a vintage pattern, or one of the newer reprints (ie: can I get my hands on it?)?
