Description

so, i made the original one from a vintage 1940s knitting pattern. then, i decided to make my own pattern to create them out of fabric. makes me feel like a 1940s housewife.

    Gorgeous! I’m such a big fan of hats, berets and all these things and I love vintage and retro style, so simply love it. Nice work with the presentation too and the black/white photos. As always.

    thanks! actually the knit pattern is a 1940s pattern, listed on the Victoria and Albert Museum website for free (just added the link in the credits above).

    I think I know this knitting pattern (from a Patton Vintage knitting book edited in the 1980s?)
