Ski pants of the 1940s are nothing other, really, than straight pants, closing at the waist, usually made of wool, sometimes with a band at the bottom, letting them hold on to the foot. I created the pants based on one of the BurdaStyle patterns (I just can’t remember which…). The width of the pants narrows to the waist by triple pleats at each side at the front. The pants button up at the side. I added two pockets in the front with a decorative flap.
