Description

This is the 2nd time I’ve used this pattern: Vintage Butterick 2638. It is such a comfortable dress to wear and I love the midriff section. Not too painful to put together but it did seem to take me longer this time for some reason. I have no idea what the fabric is. I do know it is 100% natural and very soft. A friend of mine was getting rid of a bag of fabric and I almost took her arm off when she offered it to me!

I’m so happy to have found a home for those little ‘target’ buttons too!

    The dress looks lovely, and again red is such a good colour for you. What a chance your friend gave it to you! With these 3/4 sleeves its a perfect dress for this rainy summer, at least the bright colour brings in a little sunshine. (I should get myself a pair of fun wellies too instead of the boring green ones)
