I just dont like pants and mostly wear dresses or skirts.
But I have always thought that womens pants from the 1940s, with the high waist and wide legs, looks rather nice. Then one late night I found the Bella #6011 -pattern on Burdastyle and decided to give it a chance.
Since sizes of Burdastyle patterns often is a bit weird, I decided to make a toile (test model) out of som old black cotton fabric I had lying around. As it turns out ,the testmodel was a perfect fit and the fabric looked surprisingly good, so I decided to finish it in that fabric. The toile became the actual pants.
I am realy pleased with the result and I love my new pants.
