Made with light gingham cotton and rick-rack. Made from Vogue’s 8728. Very easy and quick, I had absolutely no trouble making this pattern. I omitted the neck facing and the plackets and did a zipper instead. Shoulders needed to be taken up since I went without shoulder pads and of course the hem was a bit too long. Generally I don’t like rick rack but it went well at the bottom so I added it. Visit my blog Vintage Bobbin
Gingham, rickrack, 9 inch zipper.

So pretty. You have inspired me to track this pattern down – it is very similar to a dress I bought about ten years ago and have worn to death.
