My participation in the Sew for Victory challenge hosted by Lucky Lucille.
I made a fitted blouse from Simplicity 2343 from 1948, with a lovely Liberty cotton lawn kindly gifted to my from katycarp (see her stunning dress here) and some contrasting green fabric for the Peter Pan collar. It had lots of darts and tucks, and buttons down the back.
I spent quite a bit of time altering the pattern, as the initial fit on my toile was not good! In the end I was happy with what I ended up with. I am planning on wearing it on many occasions!
