Den Haag, Nether...
When I wanted to make a dress which would show off this beautiful green wool crepe, I looked to the 1930’s for inspiration. Looking at vintage magazines gave me a bit of an understanding of the silhouette and the design details (and the fact that you don’t have to have shoulder pads).
Then, I drafted this pattern: raglan sleeves which form a yoke at the back, cowl neckline with pleats in satin, slim skirt with flared inserts.
