Draping the sloper is a great way to insure that you have a base pattern that fits well. I first draped my sloper, top and bottom in muslin and then transfer the fabric pattern to paper. I draft the sleeve in paper.
Tips: relax and smooth, dont pull or force. Iron the muslin well. When transferring to paper, I like to use a tracer’s wheel and cutting mat underneath. Use rulers to clean up all the lines and curves.
Go far afield in wrap dresses, detailed jackets, and comfy separates for fall.
