Bought this pattern on-line when I was first given my sewing machine 3-ish years ago (by my BFF Connie) – all excited to start making my own clothes. Didn’t get the chance to make it until recently, when I decided to seriously start following patterns instead of free-handing all my projects. It was a very easy pattern to follow, and I L-O-V-E the result. I’ve already worn it out once and I can’t wait to wear it again and again. The wrap design is what makes it such an easy to make ‘figure hugging’ blouse. The butterfly sleeves are perfect for all those women who don’t have ‘Michelle Obama’ toned biceps, and prefer some coverage in the arm area, but still want to keep their look feminine. Overall – easy to make, super fun and flattering to wear. I’m definitely making it again in a different fabric color/design – first opportunity I get.
I used a chiffon that my cousin brought over to me from Australia during her last visit to the States – but any light flowy fabric will do.
