Here is a stays with his boned corset neck based on the Butterick B4254 pattern and Norah Waugh book “corset and crinoline”. I use cable ties as boning and hand-stitched the bias binding. I create the pattern of neck stays and I’ll put it on sale as son as possible on etsy.

I just wanted to say that I admire your work! I have done similar pieces not with this much detail but I know the effort you have put into this piece. I absolutely love everything about it! Fantastic Job!

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, this project was a real headache! It was all new to me and my sewing machine refused to sew properly my fabric… In the future, I always try to hand sewing my bias because the result is better than the sewing machine : )

Thank you libra, my favorite parts in sewing is details, that’s why I hand-stitched the bias binding :-)
