When I needed a medieval costume super quick to use for a performing group that I’ve joined, my stash raid yielded an old project started years ago. Only the linen brocade had been cut out. From 7pm on a Friday night until 12:30pm on Saturday I cut out accent fabric and lining and sewed like the wind! Haha, I love the way it turned out and it worked beautifully for the parade of lights and the photo shoot the next day. This dress is from Butterick pattern 6751 with modifications because I never follow directions exactly :)
linen brocade, purple and black napped fabric, repurposed fur bought at a flea market years ago.
