15 minute stretch skirt

Added Apr 10, 2014

Leeds, United Ki...

I bought the fabric some time last year and wanted to make a maxi dress but as I found Mimi G tutorial on 15 minute skirt, I thought I’d give it a go (you can find it on youtube).
Quite happy with the result, though it’s not my usual kind of skirt, as I’d rather sew from patterns, but it works perfectly well for stretch fabric.
I made a double-stitch on the hem, similar to finishing of denim, to give it a bit more sporty look- perfect for my holiday in Uganda!

Material Notes

stretch, elastic, ball end needles for stretchy fabric
