Help! How do I line the tie part of the dress? Do I line the whole front? Has anyone made this dress already? Please help!

This is simply gorgeous, but could it be done with cap sleeves? I’m thinking of making it to wear to a formal event in the middle of a Brisbane summer. Long sleeves may be too much, even in aircon. Any ideas? Can I just shorten the sleeves, or would it look weird?

thanks BurdaStyle and Kdblev for the answers on the sizing. Can’t wait to try this dress!

The sizes for this dress are women’s “tall sizes”. This means that the length of the garment is slightly longer than the Burda Style Magazine patterns for “regular” sizes. You can read more about these sizes in our new and updated women’s size chart here: http://www.burdastyle.com/statics/size-chart

For those asking about sizing. I did some research and found that these correspond to TALL misses sizes. It is the BurdaStyle Magazine size chart you need. The 72 is a US4 and up from there.

I can’t find any sizes on the pattern or any chart which tells me how much fabric is required.

I can’t find the sizes listed with this pattern on the size chart. It says sizes 72, 74, 76, etc. – Does anyone know where the chart that includes those sizes is?
