Burda Style For people who sew

Slash the sleeve vents as marked. Spread the cut edges apart to a straight line and stitch to one lengthwise edge of the binding strip, as narrowly as possible. Press the binding strip over the joining seam into the vent, then turn edge under to a binding width of 7 mm (1/4 in). Turn inside edge under and sew to joining seam. At the top of the vent, mitre the binding on the inside. On front edges of vent, turn the binding to inside and baste to lower edge of sleeve.
