At each seam mark, clip the seam allowance approx. 5 mm (3/16 in) long. With doubled sewing thread and long running stitches, sew through both fabric and paper, along the centre front, the facing fold, and the placement line, leaving a thread loop, about 2 cm (3/4 in) high, after each stitch. Cut centres of all thread loops then carefully remove the paper pattern piece.
