Step 13 Hem
Press hem allowances – 4 cm (15/8 ins) wide on the top and 6 cm (21/2 ins) wide on sleeves – to the inside. Use a twin needle and work from the right side of the top or sleeve to stitch hems in place – 3 cm (11/4 ins) from lower edge on top and 5 cm (2 ins) from lower edges of sleeves.
