Stitch the darts in the fronts. Trim dart allowances to 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide. Press darts open, pressing points of darts flat. Stitch the side pieces to the fronts, from seam number 1 to corner. Clip seam allowance of fronts into corner. Press allowances of the section seams open. Lay horizontal edges of the front and side pieces together and baste together with herringbone stitch.
