So, at first, I wanted to make that dress
But I made the straps too narrow, waaaay too much closure, and the skirt… Outrageous. Way too narrow, my butt looked like a pregnant-woman belly!
I was very disappointed, and I finished roughly the skirt by adding panels to make a simple gather skirt, (i didn’t even cut it straight, as you can see…) put it in the closet, and let it there for a year…
Until I moved, a few weeks ago: I had to tidy all my clothes, and oh, what’s that dress? I tried it on, and it is oh so comfy!
So I wear it with a black shirt underneath, and it’s fine :) (I’m too lazy to sew a black band on the closure… And by experience, it doesn’t always work as you expect!)
(last picture = without the shirt underneath… a bit too much for me!)
