I had a black skirt that I never wore and wanted to turn it into something new for Autumn/Winter. I had lace left over from the lace gown I made last February so I cut a length of lace 1.5m wide and 15" long and sewed it just below the waistband of the original skirt allowing a 1/2" seam allowance. The lace is hemmed. The whole project took 1 hour.
Black skirt. Black lace, black thread.
