Yes, this sweater did take me a year and half to make, but mind you, I made plenty of other projects in the meantime! And I did put it down for year to focus on my college work, so maybe it should only be called the 6 month sweater….
Anyways, this is a delightfully warm wool sweater from a pattern in Knit1 magazine (love them!) and is just perfect for the fall days that are starting to come in the northwest.
Side note: the peacock feathers are behind the picture on the wall, not in my hair…
100% Cascade wool yarn, worsted weight, on size 6 and 7 needles.

That is a very well made sweater! I wish I could knit!!!! I’ve been trying to learn, knitted a bit of a sock, but then my dogs ate it! ;-) I tried again, knitted a little bit and… it’s been laying like that ever since! ;-) Congratulations on finishing your project!!!! It’s very pretty!

Congratualations to finally finishing a nice sweater, it looks very well knitted :-)!
Haha, I beat you, I’ve been knitting a scarf for four years now (but I only knit at christmas so that might explain it). I was actually planning on calling it the 4-yeas-scarf (I’m hoping to finish it this year!). So you beat me to that one ;-)!
