Trace the pattern pieces from the pattern sheet. Trace the front facing from piece 1 as a separate pattern ¬piece.
The top buttonhole on piece 1 is mark¬ed for size 17. For sizes 18 – 21, mark the buttonhole the same distance from neck edge as for size 17. Both bottom buttonholes are in the same place for all sizes. Mark these buttonholes on the facing only.
Seam and hem allowances:
Seams and edges 1.5 cm (5/8 in), back vent edges 3 cm (11/4 ins), hem and sleeve hems 4 cm (15/8 ins).
Lining: Seams and edges 1.5 cm (5/8 in), lining hem 1.5 cm (5/8 in), lower edge of front lining 4 cm (15/8 ins).
