This is a variation of pattern 112A from July 2011. The pattern is the same, but the required materials are: Cupro poplin, 140 cm (55 in) wide: 1.70 m (1 7/8 yds) for all sizes. Vilene Bias Tape/stay tape. Elastic, 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide: 0.75 – 0.80 – 0.85 – 0.90 – 0.90 m (7/8 – 7/8 – 1 – 1 – 1 yd). Hook-and-eye fastener.

i love this one! i too would shorten the slit, that’s it. i would like to know what kind of fabric would be suitable for this dress.

I plan to make it in a mid-weight drapey knit fabric, and maybe try it in a silk charmeuse or crepe.

Hi Talia, I had the same question ( and a couple more) regarding the changes – I think the slit is shortened, the skirt is longer, and took out the fastener at the top of the slit. If you end up making the dress with the changes, let me know, I’ve had my eye on this one for a bit…
