Trace the pattern pieces from the pattern sheet. Trace the front facing from piece 1 as a separate pattern piece.
Front lining piece: Trace the front to the facing line as a separate pattern piece. Mark a horizontal line from section seam to point of dart and cut open. Lay vertical dart closed and glue the horizontal edges together at bottom end of dart. This will create a bust dart for the lining piece (see pattern layout).
Seam and hem allowances:
Seams and edges 1.5 cm (5/8 in); no allowance on vertical edges of front (scissors symbol), but 1.5 cm (5/8 in) allowance on dart; hem and sleeve hem 4 cm (15/8 ins); lining 1.5 cm (5/8 in).
