Trace the pattern pieces from the pattern sheet.
The welt joining lines on piece 21 are marked for size 36 only. For the other sizes, lay the darts closed, from horizontal line. Lay pattern pieces 21 and 22 to­gether and lengthen the welt join­ing lines on piece 22 toward the front. The pocket ends 7 – 7.5 – 8 – 8.5 cm (23/4 – 3 – 31/4 – 33/8 ins) before the marked centre front. Or mark the welt joining line on fabric pieces after the darts and front section seam have been stitch­ed.
To cut the lining, trace pieces 21 to 24 each as a separate pattern piece, to the marked lining lines.
Seam and hem allowances:
Seams and edges 1.5 cm (5/8 in), hem 4 cm (15/8 ins), lining 1.5 cm (5/8 in).
