HI…
having muddled my way through the sizing, to find I had bought a pattern for a tall person, which I didn’t find flagged up very clearly (I’m new to the Burda site, so not familiar with their sizing), but think I can cope with adjusting to fit, I’m now struggling to find the code for which line I cut to for my size. I can’t find a ‘key’ for the lines and sizes anywhere (I’m sure this is normally detailed on instructions or pattern?)
I need to cut to a size 80, I’ll prob just cross my fingers and try cutting out the middle line as it appears on the straight bit of the trousers (long dash, short dash!!) unless any one can help? thanks.

I get Burdastyle Mag every month (and I’m a tall girl myself) so I look at that sizing chart every month. Let me see. The sizes go: Size 68= Size 34 72 = 36 76 = 38 and so on. PLEASE NOTE: Some of the measurements are longer in these sizes eg. the back-lenght (normally 41 cm in size 36. In tall-sizes it’s 43.) Hope the info is useful! :-)

I just bought this pattern… For interfacing, it says see pattern layout, but there is no pattern layout picture provided! i know Burda the magazine shows pattern layout pictures, so why isn’t it included in the downloadable pdf? Also, when I click on the sizing chart link, it doesn’t include a size chart for tall women’s patterns, and so i don’t know what measurements correspond with 72, 76 etc. This definitely was on the old burdafashion.com site, is it somewhere on burdastyle.com?
I really am disappointed to have paid $5.40 for this pattern, only for it to be lacking instructions and measurements. Burdastyle, can you tell me where to interface? Or someone with the 7/2010 magazine?2 Replies

Interfacing is the front and back waistband. I see that this is an older post, so unsure if you have the information already or not. Hope it helps!
