Stitch lining to inside edge of facing, leaving about 8 cm (31/4 ins) open at bottom. Turn in lining of left back at underlap edge of back vent and pin. Trim other edge of lining to 1 cm (3/8 in) before hemmed edge of underlap. Clip 1 cm (3/8 in) diagonally into top corner of vent. Turn in edge of lining and pin to vent facing of right back. Turn in lining and pin to underlap at top of vent. Pin folds, about 1 cm (3/8 in) deep, in lining, above coat and sleeve hems. Turn in lining and sew to hem allowances by hand. Remove pins, lay extra length down, and press. Sew lining in place at back vent. Sew open edges of lining in place, on front.
