But the fabric – eugh! I thought it’d be a cool mod-like sort of thing with the colour blocking that’s in right now but the fabric is atrocious!

the fabric choice does nothing for the dress. Agree with you both, length and width need to be altered. Solid block colour with contrast pockets,tabs and bottom section would give this a lift.

I have to agree with sewpretty, I would have to alter the width of the dress, I was planning to make it since the mags preview was out, even bought the fabric for it, but then I saw this dress and it had been made with no alternations- just looks like an old potato bag((( I think it could be very nice if the shape was more narrow and shorter too
