Stitch the darts in the under sleeves. Press darts down.
Lay under sleeves right sides together with upper sleeves. Line up, pin and stitch the back sleeve seams. Press the seam allowances open and neaten edges by zigzag or over lock.
To ease the sleeve cap to make it fit the armhole, stitch two lines of machine tacking stitch (longest stitch setting) to each side of the marked seam line, from • to •. Wait to pull the bobbin thread until later.
Fold the sleeves lengthwise, right sides facing in. Line up, pin and stitch the front sleeve seams. Press the seam allowances open and neaten edges with zigzag or over lock seam.
Neaten the sleeve hem allowance and press it to the inside. Stitch the hem loosely in place by hand.
