Here is the wedding dress. Jamie and I designed it based on things we had seen and things we liked. Jamie wanted a short dress because our reception was in a show barn on the local fairgrounds – it was a summer wedding and a long dress would have made dancing hard. We like to dance; it’s how we met. We bought the fabric from Mood in New York. It’s a soft cotton fabric with just a hint of silverly shine from silver threads which are more prominent on the front; we used the backside of the fabric. It has four buttons on the back, but they are false; the dress closes with a zipper behind the panel on which the buttons are sewed. Both are families are impressed that I can sew and impressed that Jamie would trust me to sew her wedding dress.
Thanks to Ms. Natalie Good for the wonderful photos; also Marie Kuchenmeister.

Beautiful, it took me till the end of the description to realize that it’s not the girl who sewed it, I guess in this case it was alright that you saw the dress beforehand! She looks so happy, I love it. Beautiful pictures, and congratulations!
