I cut a strip of jersey on the bias. Usually I’d cut it longer than the circumference of the neckline and then sew it on like bias binding and topstich it, although on this top I left the edges raw and just top stitched it into place. I hope that helps!

To tell you the truth, I feel like I’M the offsize one, not the patterns. I’m always editing the garments I make, even if i’ve made them to my measurements! And thank you for the nice comment about my yellow dress, and as for the tip about going a few sizes down, just make sure to use a stretch stitch—wouldn’t want the garment itself to fit but have the seams be restricting! ReneeBeth PS-I’ve only worked with a few simplicity patterns, but the “built by wendy” one I’ve used many times fits great and seems true to size!
