Hi, I found you on the sewing groups page. I am interested in joining a group and geelong is the closest I can find. Can you please give me the details of your group? Thanks, Emily

Hey Wendy, The weeks featured creations are the ones that appear at the bottom of the homepage every day. A team member (usually me) chooses the “best creations” from that day or the past few days. The “best creations” have as much to do with taking a good photo as it does with the skill level involved. Without being able to see the creation in a good light, nice setting and a clear picture the viewers can’t see its full potential. The vote button will possibly have implications for which pictures make it into the “Best of” the month and year slide shows. I hope that answers your question, as always if you have anymore, just write me :) Alden

Hi, I really like the way you shortened the skinny jeans, I’m only a beginner but really want to try that pattern myself now!

Wenstupen, I saw in the sewalong that you finished the pants. I am very impressed with your pockets. What a good idea to make them short. I may try it!

Good morning and thank you for the comments on my daughter’s coat:) I was very nervous about matching the print, especially in the skirt which was cut on the bias !! I was lucky that it turned out as well as it did. Happy Sewing :) Janet

Hey, You left a comment about a strippy long sleeve and to answer your question it was Lydia pattern (so easy, so basic!). And I just used my normal machine. Hope the Lydia pattern treats you well!

I am from Wyndham Vale. Please, let me know if you get anymore interest. I am part of a patchwork group, but would like to meet some sewers who are a bit closer to my age.
