    I don’t think it ever took off. the organiser dropped off the radar. I’d offer myself but I can’t commit 100% as my other half works crazy and varied shifts (bus driver) and we have a small boy who is nearly 3 and can’t really be left alone yet! Lol

  thank you very much. my family is ok and my house too. all the furniture and all the stuff in the house fell down. but the house didn’t suffer any damage.

  i wasn’t at home at the moment of the earthquake, i am in the south of the country, here the earthquake wasn’t so big, but it was scary anyway.

  in my city there’s still no water and no electricity and it’s dangerous because people are stealing in all the supermarkets and drugstores. so the goverment ordered that nobody could be on the street after 9pm (i don’t know how is that called in english)

  but the important thing is that we are ok :)

  Hello! My first Burdastyle friend! It’s nice to see that someone is sewing so close to me geographically. Apart from my Mum, I don’t know anyone who sews.

  You make a really big variety of things don’t you? How often do you wear the clothes you sew?

  So far I’ve made two skirts and a jacket; the jacket was too big so I’m giving it to my mum, one skirt was made of really old curtain material and ripped, and the other (I’ve just added it), although I really like it, is made from really stiff fabric so rides up my legs when I walk!

    I wear pretty much everything I make although somethings never see the light of day, far too hideous! I don ‘t know anyone who sews either, just knitters! Well done for the jacket, I’m not brave enough to have a bash at one ! Although I am contemplating a military style one.

I got the pattern for this from http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.0 It is pretty simple but it pays to read through the instructions carefully. You will have to email the creator of the pattern (all written up on the first page of the forum/post) to get it and she will email it to you.
