Hey – thanks for all the kind words. I have been hunting around for some of these magazines. Hard to find where I live, I will keep looking though. Look forward to seeing some more of your wonderful creations!

Hi – I only started sewing around April/May this year. I had my 3rd baby in Feb and had given up work and was a bit over doing the same thing day in day out (cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning!) My Mother in law gave me an old machine she was throwing out and I made my first quilt. I really enjoyed having something to do that wasnt cleaning! and that I could do while my kids are sleeping without having to leave the house. I am still not very good but Im hoping that if I just keep trying I’ll slowly get better. As long as Im still enjoying it Im not too worried if things are not wearable for now!! How bout you? How did you get into sewing?

Thanks for the comments on my flower pillowcase dress (it’s been a while, I know!). Don’t you just love when a fabric can transport you back in time?!
