Hi Sweet-saboo, you were posting tons of excellent informtion about carpal tunnel in the forum on the old website. I just wanted to remind you to retrieve the information of your post before the old website expires at the end of September. I would love to see a permanent post about this topic in the Learning section of this site. I’d love to be able to go back and re-read your valuable tips about carpal tunnel and soft tissue damage. I think it is something that all sewers need to know!

Thanks for your nice comment on my coat! I’m relieved it turned out ok – coats cost a little bit more due to material type and amount needed.

Thank you, Sweet Saboo! Your response to my Euro Pro problem made a LOT of sense! I have put it away for now and resumed using my ’70’s Singer also. The Euro Pro’s future is in limbo.

Hello sweet-saboo! Thank you, thank you thank you for the compliment on “Gwen’s Summer Dress”! It was such a chore to match the design on the fabric and although I got it right on the bodice, I missed it on the back of the skirt! Anyway, Keep sewing!

Hello! I thought I drop by to tell you that I was well impressed by the comment you wrote on the coffee filter thingee blog. I agree with you that the expressions ‘thinking outside the box’ or even another one which I totally abhor such as ‘chill out, man’ cover up more intolerance than open mindness. It has nothing to do with the subject matter but I thought I’d point out another redundant idiom: ‘at the end of the day’…..urghhhh I say it is better ‘to think alongside the circle’ ‘at the end of the night’

Want to see your creations posted soon!

thanks for commenting on my forum post, very helpful! I had tried messing with the tension (its on the highest setting of 4 now) and its helped a little but I think it probably needs to be cleaned and oiled like you mentioned. thanks for your input!

Again, thanks SO much for your detailed feedback on my long-torso adaptations question. You definitely inspire me. And great to know about the special needle for sewing knits on my Sailrite!

I’d love to return the favor by helping you figure out your uploading problem. Without knowing more, I’d say a simple “card reader” will solve your problem. You can get something called a “12-in-one card reader” for usually less than $20 at any Radio Shack or basic electronics section of your local…Fred Meyer, Target, etc (it’s remotely possible, too, that your computer has a slot for your camera’s memory card—typically called an “SD card” so look for that before you buy anything).

Basically, a card reader makes it so the contents on your camera appear on your computer as if they are on a separate drive (which really they are). The 12-in-one option means you can also use it for other electronics that have different kinds/sizes of cards.

But if it helps, I can tell you what you need for sure if you tell me what kind of camera you have and what kind of computer you have. My email is here: smvirden yahoo

Truthfully, my assistance is purely selfish because I really DO want to see your creations posted in here! All the best!
