Thanks so much for answering! :) I did see about the seam allowance, so I did cut that extra amount out around the edges. But how do I sew the darts together? I’m used to darts on patterns where they just have lines showing where to sew, but nothing is cut out usually.

If you cut out around the pattern (so that you will have a v shape on both back pieces and 2 vs on the front piece) then you can hold these pieces together and sew on the wrong sides. You could also do this without cutting the darts, just fold and sew where the darts need to go.
The instructions for it are here:

I hope that makes sense- if not, this link shows how to sew a dart and has lots of pics (which I find helpful):

hey i have a question! i’m doing the coffee date dress and saw that you’ve made it. how do i do the darts? what is the seam allowance? do i just stay as close as i can to the edge?

It does not have seam allowance included, so cut out an extra cm around the outside of the pattern.
The darts just need cutting out (as shown on the pattern pieces) and then sewn together, nothing too fancy.
Hope that makes sense, ask again if you need any more help.
