Duck Creek was amazing. We are planning to go back for our anniversary. We still have great memories from there. Now I know who to ask about the special places in SLC for sewing and what not. If you ever need a sewing partner, I’m just 30 mins. away :)

You’re the featured member today! i went through your studio pics before i saw the blog post. congrats :) I also saw that you’re from Cedar City – I stayed at Duck Creek for my honeymoon this year and passed through Cedar City. Really nice little town. I’m new to Utah (i’m in american fork) so that’s why I’m so excited to find a fellow resident.

Oh it is so great to meet a fellow Utah resident. I live in Salt Lake now but Cedar City will always hold a special place in my heart. Gosh, Duck Creek! Seriously brings back memories. Congrats on your wedding and staying in such a cool place, or at least I hope your honeymoon went well there. The mountain area in Cedar boasts some really spectacular views and ranges. Its just breathtaking to me, but then I’m a little biased. It’s so cool that you live so near!

Hi! Thanks so much for leaving your comments on my jogging outfit. You’re so kind to leave them here as well as at my blog. Have a great weekend, the lovely goddess!

Hi,
I had some problems with the comments on my blog so I decided to give up moderating them. I lost some but yours mysteriously came back :) don’t ask me how as I have no idea :) It’s funny you should mention my glamorous eyes because I think the same about yours :) You have expressive eyes, highlighted by your beautiful red hair. Ok, it’s set, we are in awe for each other :))

Starting my version of your “naughty secretary” this afternoon. Wish me luck! It’ll be my first time working with a sheer. If all goes well I may attempt to combine the skirt of the secretary with the purple blouse you posted as well.

Thank you so much for adding me as friend. I am still trying to understand the details of the website. I absolutely loved your ‘Naughty Secretary’ dress. I am also a secretary and now that Spring is finally here in cold South Dakota I look forward to wearing skirts and dresses again. One of the patterns and fabric I purchased was for these and I plan on trying a variation of it. I plan on putting flap pockets. I have to have pockets on clothes, two little boys require a place to put lots of ‘treasures’
Thanks again for the inspiration! Steph

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me about the Lady Grey pockets. I have done what you did and just slotted them into the hem as I am quite a pockety person too and didn’t want to make them any smaller. The jacket is now finished and I shall hopefully be getting some pics of it tomorrow .
Hope you have a great birthday.
All the best,
Candy

I’m happy you like my evening dress. I have some fabric left and thinking of doing another floor-length dress but I have such a long waiting list :) Posting on your blog still didn’t work last time I tried :(

I love your dress! It’s gorgeous! I’m so sorry about posting on my blog. I’ll keep talking to typepad about it. Does it give you any sort of message? Or will it just not post?

Hi, Sunni!!! I’ve been reading your blog for a while now (since the change from “Cupcake Goddess” and actually before) and already saw the tutorials on the belt-making. But I haven’t had the time to thank you and to tell you how wonderfully detailed they are, but also colourful to look through and fun to read!!! I’m a fan and will definitely be buying some things from your shop as well, as soon as I actually start sewing for real! ;-)
