  I’m glad you liked my ‘fabric’ idea on my patchwork skirt :) And yes you should have a go at making one.. lol.. Making the fabric for something makes you even more proud of the garment in the end… I noticed you wrote that you are a novice, so just a word of advice for when you do the patchwork, you have to (sort of) plan ahead, a bit, when you do it, don’t sew a piece onto another piece unless the 2 lengths match up… (So sometimes you will need to join a few pieces together, before you can then join that to the main part you have already done…)……Arghhh, i bet that didn’t make any sense… haha… Well, if you have any trouble, don’t hesitate to ask… besides, I’m sure there would be some ‘how to’s’ one here to do patchwork… :) Happy sewing !
