Hi!! Thanks for your comment on my Hervé top! It was quite comfortable to wear…but saying that, I was standing up all night in a bar. It may have been a different story if I went to a sit-down affair!

Hi! I noticed you were asking about raw edges on jersey fabric on that really pretty black shirt that was posted recently. I just wanted to let you know that when I use jersey I almost always leave the edges raw because they really don’t unravel at all. Once or twice i’ve turned it under and sewn it like that, but usually raw works (and makes the project go by fast!) So I’m not sure what she did on hers, but leaving the edges of jersey fabric raw is definitely an option if you like the look of raw edges. RB

hi sseahra :o) yeah, talcum powder would get a bit messy, and I’d worry about it gumming up the machine works… I have heard that a very light coat of aerosol silicone spray helps… I am actually kinda interested in this topic because I want to make a little rain-hat for myself out of some pearlescent hot-pink pvc I found :o)

Hello! Thanks for the comment on the liquid leggings =) As for where I got the fabric, I got it from Fabricana. I’m from vancouver BC, so I dunno if they have one in Ontario. Usually it’s $12-20/meter but they had a 50% off sale so I lucked out!
