spiderlilly Thank you so much for your comment on my blouse. I am totally addicted to pleats, tucks etc.. I am a texture girl rather than a printed fabric one I am dreaming of making an accordeon dress that looks like the instrument (and it would be musical too). Keep well!

Hi Spiderlily, I have a question about your spats. My daughter and her family Live in Rhode Island. Do you think that if I increased the s/a that these could be made up in lightweight polar fleece? Cordially, Nehmah PS. went to your ETSY site; great top, just a bit too small. Both my daughter (38DD) and I (40D+) would destroy the seams!:)

HA HA HA! that’s lovely. Well, send your naughty little pony a message from this naughty little pony; ‘Keep up the good work’ (of being naughty!). I’d love to see a pic of Pony! p.s. Your skills are knock out.

Thank you for writing back! I haven’t found any classes to take in my area. I took a summer sewing class, and that helped a lot to get me started, and of course my home ec class that they now took away from my school! I learned how to sew mainly from my grandma, but now that she’s gone it’s hard to find anyone who has the skills to help me. I will definetly check out the how-to’s on this website, and even try out a few patterns when i get the chance! & I’ll keep you in mind if i have any specific questions in the future! i love your work, very edgy! xoxox

hey spiderlily! I’m new on here, and i absolutely love your designs! I love sewing and creating things, but i’m not very good yet, i never use patterns and that gets frustrating! I was just wondering if you had any advice for getting started with designing patterns and sewing. I keep telling myself i’ll get started making some one of these days, but i haven’t yet! So any advice you can give, or things you think i should start out on would help a lot! thank you!

ALL of your clothes are absolutely incredible, and I think you are an amazing, amazing designer. I’m just a beginner but everything you’ve made is exactly my style, and I was wondering if you have any tips you could share? Also, check out my website, www.sketchesbystacey.com, its only my fashion sketches right now, but when I become a more advanced sewer and patternmaker I’m hoping to draft my own patterns. Anyway, you’re great! Keep it up! :)
