I've always been interested in fashion, and I've been making things for a while, including sculpture, which is what I major in at University. But it's only recently that my basic sewing skills have developed (through heaps of practice) enough to actually be proud of the garments that I'm making! Now sewing is a joy, although challenging!

Hi sojo, I started with sculpture, too, before taking on sewing – I had some idea about incorporating sewn fabrics into my sculptures – and ended up becoming absorbed, hook, line and sinker, in the process of sewing instead of sculpting! Funny how life leads us by odd quirks and crannies!

Oh cool, I really enjoy sculpture as well, do you still make sculptures?
