i took my first sewing course in the fall of 2008 and instantly became enamored with the ability to make my own clothes. this new skill has allowed to me take my eco-consciousness to a whole new level. i now focus on buying only second hand fabrics and patterns. not only is this keeping textiles out of our landfills, it is easy on my wallet too!
