Hi..yeah i did leave you a message..i cant find it either…strange…. I just said that i used the pattern “McCall’s Home Decorating 9665”. If you google it you may be able to find it ..the pattern calls for pillow forms to be used but i just added extra tags inside to hold the shape and then filled it with beans. If you cant find the pattern let me know and i will try to send you some basic templates.. Good Luck!

Hi! I’m not sure I understand your question, but no, you don’t hem the top bit (you only hem outer edges, and there’s a facing along the top-opening, so you don’t need to hem it there). If I understand correctly, you’ll use the bust-bit and attach a more simple dress below it, kind of like the Mary’y-dress? I would copy the bottom part, slash it to add some width and gather the material so it’s the same shape up top as the pattern, that way you’d get a gathered dress that still fits the top-bit well, with a curve. I did hem my top at the bottom, with a blind stich on my sewing machine. Hope it made some sense!

      hey :)

Thankyou so much helped heaps! I think here we call facing lining, i think thats what facing is ment for?
i was going to leave this facing out as i didnt know what it ment, and just fold the top edge over (hem it)
yes thats what i mean kind of like the maryy dress.
when you say you would copy the bottom part, do you mean the bottom part of the top? and what do you mean by slash it ?.

      Thankyou soo sooo much!
