Thank you for your friendly comments! I love these boots and like to wear these tights. To get the check of the jumper in the right way isn’t so easy, between the front bodice and skirt the matching line is inside the pleat. I saw it when I finished work, now I’m too lazy to change it. I’m still learning …

Oh yes, I know! My husband and I have painted the bedroom last week and laid a new parquet floor. We slept on our mattresses on the living-room-floor, but today we could place the bed where it belongs. My sewing had to stop, it always has to stop because of other things. I’m sewing a dress, or is it a pinafore? It is for not so hot days but has no sleeves because I want to wear a sweater or a Tee under it. The pattern is burda 8072. I took a checked fabric in light and dark brown, black and natural white. Then I had to alter the pattern a bit, I’m size 16 from neck to shrug but then at once size 18. My waist has gone (it’s an old woman’s annoying growth), so I also had to alter this part of the dress. My knees and under legs are thin again. If the dress comes out like I imagine, it will look nice together with my new dark brown boots. I’m always moaning about too few time but then I sit and look for new patterns in the Internet! What are you sewing? I imagine it will be in bright lovely colors!

You are too sweet! Have you been working on anything lately? I would like to sew a garment this weekend. Sometimes housework gets in the way, you know?

How wonderful things you made! I love them all. The number of vests and jackets took my breath away, do you sew the whole day? – oh yes, you are a teacher! All these patchwork garments give me new ideas for a jacket I want to make, from middle-dark green Poplin and velvet with flowers and thin golden embroidery. But I’m afraid of sewing velvet, it’s always running into the wrong direction. Nevertheless, I’ll try!

Thank you for your kind compliments. No I do not sew all day I posted things that I have made in the last year or so. I work full time for a City doing alot of clerical work. I wish that I could sew each day, I certainly think about it each day. I do hope that my pictures inspire, that is why I posted them. I get inspiration from what you and all of the other Burda members post! Thanks again.

The garments you made don’t look as if you are only intermediate, they really look professional! I love them a lot, especially the vest. The turquoise-blue is the right color for blond women.

Hi, the patterns are uploaded now. Hope you can use them. I wanted to upload instructions, but they were rejected, I don’t know why.

Thank you for your nice comment on my circle bag! I would like to answer your question but, I’m not sure what you mean by stabilizer though? I used a medium weight interfacing on the white fabric. and the handles are rectangles wrapped around and hand sewn on. Does that help?
