  Hi Sewbissy, I want you to know I joined pattern review and was real bummed that I had just missed out on the end of voting for your collection by like a couple hours (I didn’t realise the voting was only a week). I am really glad I joined. Thanks for putting me onto a great site! It has helped me choose a machine and an overlocker. The funny thing is I just tried to vote in another comtest on the site today, and… turns out new members can’t vote for the first 3 months :/ I will be ready for any more of your entries in about two month’s time ;)

    What a great message to come back to after traveling for the last few weeks! Thanks for the support :) I love Pattern Review, even if its pages are a bit cluttered and it takes a while to figure out how to find what I’m looking for there. But it did help me choose my overlocker/coverstitcher a few years ago, too! So happy you have your own machine now!

    Thanks! Voting just opened today, which is exciting. It’s funny, I’ve never gotten worked up over contests before, but there’s something about the online sewing community that’s so encouraging.

  Hey – Thanks for your nice comment on my travel wallet! To get the words on I used iron-on transfer paper – really easy – just print onto the paper then iron it on to your fabric. =)

  Hi! Thanks for saying my creations look well made, though I’ve got some that have yet to be photographed that are not so well made. I just got so excited with too many ideas and wasn’t patient enough for the finishing. But hopefully once I post them, no one will notice the mistakes :)

  Thank you for answering my questions about Kumiko Sudo’s book. I’m encouraged you felt the butterfly pouch was easy enough. I don’t mind a little hand sewing now and then as it gives me a chance to curl up and keep busy in front of the t.v. or a sunny window!

  Thanks for your comment on my toddler frock. My little grand-niece loves it, but with her 10cm growth spurt, we gave it to a teddy :) I can’t believe I forgot kiddies grow lol. S’pose I hadn’t sewn for short peeps for about 15 years, hee hee.
