I’m so glad you posted the comment – i found your projects and fell in LOVE with the beach baby dolls… i wholeheartedly agree with you, we do have similar interests! I love seasides and holidays and vintage style clothing (i also copied one of your favourite patterns, the little playsuit – gorgeous!)
And thanks for the comment on the blog, it means a lot. O and the “spoon” comes from a childhood nickname actually….my name is june, so it sortof rhymed….i married an italian guy so my name is faccini now…..different, but not quite so cool as wotherspoon!
are you going to post more dolls?….i’m waiting in anticipation!!

Oh, thank you-it is a constant debate, clothes vs.“things”. I have been dreaming of a scientist doll. Trying to decide how to shape him, but, he will have the cloth strip hair.
A compliment-the copying! I am a major copier…learned it from my Berlin Grandmother who window shopped, then ran to the tailor with ideas!
As for playsuit, I like them for teen & older girls, too-so difficult to fit if for someone else.
What a wonderful last name to begin your new life. I wish you playfulness & happiness always!

Aw, thank you – some of my pictures are in east tennessee and virginia as well, since those are the other two places I’ve lived in the past few years. :) I love your alligator book, by the way. How precious!
